100 watt all tube 2/3 channel amplifier with
spring reverb, tube boost, effects loop, crystal clear clean channel and
extremely meaty gain channel. The attack and smoothness in over all tone is
simply unmatched.
The Divinity utilizes four Electro Harmonics EL34 power tubes, two 12AT7 and
two 12AX7 pre amp tubes. It’s a high gain amp with the ability to range in
distortion from all out death metal to over driven blues. It has twin gain
channels. Edge 1 is designed more for rhythm for that defined and harmonic
attack. Edge 2 is dipped slightly in the mid and high end EQ range giving it
sort of a neck pickup tone where solos are smooth and notes blend together
better.
The clean channel is a sparkling feature, it stays perfectly clean even at
extremely loud volumes and with any pickup choice you have in mind. The tube
boost is used in the clean channel mode, it simply ads a little dirt to the
sound, sort of a naturally over driven tube tone (great for blues).
The EQ section for both clean and distortion channels are set with perfection
in mind. The lows are deep and smooth without being to punchy so they are
clean lows. The mids have the ability to sound squished or run up to very
defined sounding without being “boxy” sounding. The highs are designed to
do as they should and attain great harmonics without being overly bright.
Over all the EQ is designed to adjust to any tone you desire without having to
have shapes, contours, presence controls or a bunch of little frequency
switches to confuse you. The sound of the amp would best be described as
thick, defined, extremely versatile and full of precise attack.

Power Tube Options
We have 3 types of power tubes available for the Divinity and
head. The Electro Harmonix EL34 tubes are stock in the Divinity head. For an added price, these options are available:
EL34:These stock tubes in the Divinity amplifier are preferred by many as a good all around tube for many styles of music. EL34 tubes have sort of a grainy tone on the top end. That’s really the main difference between it and a 6L6 tube or at least that is the most obvious difference.
J&J 6L6GC:These are hands down, the best quality tube on the market in our opinion. You won’t hear much difference between this tube and the 6L6GC Electro harmonix but it is a longer lasting, better quality tube. However, they are
pricey. Your upgraded price will be $50
added to your dealer, customer or endorsement order.
Ruby 6L6GCMSTR:
This is an amazing tube! If your into mids that cut through unlike anything you have ever heard, these are the way to go. Using an EQ pedal to boost when switching from
rhythm to lead is a thing of the past. These tubes are chunky, tight and very quality. We have seen them last for years. Your upgraded price will be $50 added to your dealer, customer or endorsement order.
Preamp Tube Options
We can offer preamp tube changes but honestly, your not going to hear much of a difference and your quality isn’t going to improve any. Using the same brand names listed above and utilizing the same models in our amps that are used presently your upgraded price will be $30 added to your dealer, customer or endorsement order. We can not change the 12AT7 pre amp tubes to 12AX7 tubes. Just so YOU know the TRUTH, 12AT7 tubes have more gain than a 12AX7. However, the 12AT7 pre amp tubes in our amps are NOT used for the gain channels so it wouldn’t mater anyway.
Of course we will bias the amp for you with your option. If you decide to change tubes on your own, use
the settings below. The lower you set the tube bias, the longer it will last in most cases. However, you might sacrifice some tightness in tone as well as power. You’ll never get less than 100 watts but you could get as high as 130 watts out of your Divinity head.
o EL34: 35-40mv per tube (70-80mv per outside pin)
o 6L6GC or 5881: 40-45mv per tube (80-90mv per outside pin)
o Ruby 6L6GCMSTR: 50-60mv per tube (100-120mv per outside pin)
