The U series speakers are the answer to US made cost effective PA speakers. Hand made in our shop you can expect each detail to be looked after from saw to finishing table.
Using only US made Eminence woofers the U series speakers are able to achieve higher RMS power ratings, superior quality, efficiency and sound. Of course a titanium horn driver is used from clean, crisp top end and coupled with our 11" x 11" smooth sounding horn lens.
All the good stuff is included: Steel hardware, tripod mount on the single 15, 18 gauge grill, custom 12db per octave crossover and steel jack plate with dual 1/4" and dual NL4 inputs wired in parallel.
LF Driver--- Eminence Delta 15A with a 56oz. magnet, stamp frame basket and high power 2.5" voice coil. This woofer can be rated at 400 watts RMS because of its larger gauge wire voice coil and epoxy baking time. Superior construction, joint glues and quality components are what you get with a US made woofer and something you should seriously appreciate.
HF Driver--- The U series utilizes a 1" diaphragm and voice coil, 1" throat Titanium tweeter. Like most, its Ferro Fluid cooled for more power handling and consistent super high frequencies. The MT5 has been tested in abusive applications for a number of years now and has earned its respect as a very solid driver. For those that may not understand the difference between a Phenolic, piezo or Titanium tweeter, let me explain: Titanium’s are the PRO industry standard. Almost all top name brands use titanium horn drivers. Piezo tweeters cost about .25 cents and sound like a .25 cent speaker plain and simple. Phenolic drivers are a bit cheaper then titanium's but are very harsh sounding and can not achieve the super high, crispy frequencies.
