The UP series are top notch venue quality speakers. Hand made in the USA out of 3/4" 13ply US high grade Birch hardwood and loaded with professional standard components. The UP series features a deeper cabinet design for superior bass response.
Using only US made Eminence PRO woofers the UP series speakers are able to achieve higher RMS power ratings, superior quality, efficiency and sound. A 2" titanium horn driver rounds out the cabinet, mounted on a stout 11" x 11" smooth sounding horn lens.
All the good stuff is included: Steel hardware, tripod mount on the single 15, custom 12db per octave crossover, 18 gauge steel grill and steel jack plate with dual 1/4" and dual NL4 inputs wired in parallel.
LF Driver--- Eminence Kappa Pro 15A with a 80oz. magnet, cast frame basket and high power 3" voice coil. This woofer can be rated at 500 watts RMS because of its larger gauge wire voice coil and epoxy baking time. Superior construction, joint glues and quality components are what you get with a US made woofer and something you should seriously appreciate.
HF Driver--- The UP series utilizes a 2" diaphragm and voice coil, 1" throat Titanium tweeter with a 30oz. magnet. The MT12 driver flexes it's muscles at the upper end of the frequency range more so than many 2" drivers so the sound is airy and very crisp.
