The UP and EUP series are top notch venue quality subs ready for anything you can throw at em. Hand made in the USA out of 3/4" 13ply US high grade Birch hardwood and loaded with professional standard components. The cabinet is designed to work with the Eminence Pro series woofers with smooth, zero flutter bass response.
Our folded horn cabinet is a very popular design for large venue applications. The concept of the folded horn is to throw low frequencies further into the crowd. There are a number of folded horn designs on the market but ours is a little different. First of all the woofer is less constricted. Basically what this means is that it lives in a larger internal chamber which allows it to breath a little more and eliminates slap back. We also mount the driver firing at the back panel instead of the top like most common folded horns. This does increase the frequency response of the cabinet but it also increases the efficiency just a little bit. Because of this unique design we are also able to size down the cabinet a touch so that it is easier to handle.
Using only US made Eminence PRO woofers the UP and EUP series speakers are able to achieve higher RMS power ratings, superior quality, efficiency and sound. The main difference between the two is the bed liner spray coating and more powerful woofers used in the EUP18F.
All the good stuff is included: Steel hardware, 18 gauge steel grill and steel jack plate with dual 1/4" and dual NL4 inputs wired in parallel.

UP18F---------- Eminence Sigma Pro 18A with a 80oz. magnet, cast frame basket and high power 3" voice coil.
EUP18F-------- Eminence Omega Pro 18A with 109oz. magnet, cast frame basket and 4" voice coil.
These woofers can be rated at 600 and 800 watts RMS each respectively because of their larger gauge wire voice coils and epoxy baking times. Superior construction, joint glues and quality components are what you get with a US made woofer and something you should seriously appreciate.
Construction--- Both the UP and EUP subs are hand made in the USA out of 3/4" 13ply Birch. Each panel is braced and the joints are sealed.
